      JJ is a Behavioural Specialist. He is an Interpersonal Skills Expert recognized internationally as an authority on utilizing Cultural Behavioural Insights as a business strategy to connecting with people across cultures - everyone communicates...very few connect! JJ is both a Basic Practitioner of Neuro-Linguistic Programming and a Human Behaviour Consultant Specialist. His remarkable skills in the field of human intelligence (HUMINT) have made him a world-class expert recognized by numerous peers. JJ assists people in better understanding themselves and others by enabling them to recognize different communication and leadership styles. JJ is also the founder of JJ Communications, an established behavioural based training and development company dedicated to empowering human performance by educating people in the field of Human Behaviour.

    Samuel Bashan on video...

    Presenter: Samuel Bashan, Israel

      Special Agent (Ret.) Samuel Bashan served in the Israel Defense Forces and in the General Security Service (GSS) over 20 years. He served as team leader for the GSS's VIP protection unit and was responsible for the security of three Israeli Prime Ministers. He is an expert in bomb security and preventive countermeasures. He has trained thousands of Israeli security officers and has formulated security procedures and systems, some of which are in use today at Tel Aviv's Ben-Gurion International Airport.

      Samuel is a renowned expert in the field of suicide terrorism, who has trained thousands of military and intelligence officials as well as first responders, such as police and emergency personnel. He works extensively with Parisien Research Corporation as a Terrorism Subject Matter Expert.

    Presenter: George Davidson "Tim" Smith, CD, PhD, Canada

      Tim Smith, Lieutenant-Colonel CF (Retd) and CSIS (Retd), will be discussing "The Terrorist Threat in and to Canada". Tim is a former Armoured Corps officer with 14 years Command and Staff service in North America, Europe, Middle East, Cyprus, and Vietnam. He also spent eight years in US maritime shipping and the ocean salvage industry. In 1988 he joined the Ministry of the Solicitor General (Canada), was appointed Chief of Staff and principal author, Interdepartmental Counter-Terrorism Task Force. He then transferred to CSIS as Strategic Analyst and Counter-terrorism specialist. From 1993-2006 he was the Deputy Director-General Research, Analysis, and Production Branch (RAP), with responsibility for Strategic and Emerging Issues and Domestic Analysis. He retired from Public Service in 2006 but was recalled from 2007 until 2009 to write Security Certificates against accused terrorists. He holds a PhD (International Relations), with a specialty in counter-terrorism, from Aberdeen University, Scotland. He is the author of Combating Terrorism, as well as contributions to various edited volumes and a number of journal articles.
